CANCELLATION: Tenant agrees that when the reservation is made the full payment is due six (6) weeks in advance of Tenants arrival date. If the date of arrival is within six (6) weeks of the arrival date payment is due within five days after the reservation is made. If payment is not received by six (6) weeks in advance of arrival, the reservation is not considered cancelled, however the Tenant hereby authorizes TMP to charge the Tenant’s credit card for any unpaid balance. Reservations are considered booked when the Tenant’s completed contract is received by TMP. To cancel this reservation Notice of Cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING AND RECEIVED MORE THAN 6 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK-IN DATE. If cancellation is received prior to six weeks TMP will refund all sums paid by Tenant less a $100 cancellation fee. Within six weeks of the arrival date this reservation is considered 100% non-refundable. We understand this is a strict policy, however, these homes are in high demand and in order to be fair to the homeowners we ask that you be fully committed before making the reservation. For this reason, TMP strongly advises Tenant to purchase Vacation Rental Insurance through CSA Travel Insurance.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: CSA Vacation Rental Insurance will not only provide protection if you have to cancel your trip for a covered reason, but it also protects you and your companions while you are travelling in the event of roadside assistance, travel delays, nurse helpline assistance, emergency medical expenses and more. Please read the Description of Coverage carefully to familiarize with the coverage provided. If you have any questions regarding this plan call CSA toll-free at (866)999-4018 to speak with a customer service representative refer to plan code 330CSA. Once you receive your Description of Coverage, you have 10 days to review it. If it does not meet your needs, you can call us to cancel the coverage and receive a full refund provided you haven’t already left on your trip; after 10 days from receipt this plan is no longer refundable.
Vacation Rental Damage Protection: This Vacation Rental Damage plan covers unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. The policy will pay a maximum benefit of $3,000. Any damages that exceed $3,000 will be charged to the credit card on file. If you damage the real or personal property assigned to your rental accommodation during the trip, the Insurer will reimburse the lesser of the cost of repairs or the Actual Cash Value of the property, up to $3,000.Certain terms and conditions apply. Full details of the Vacation Rental Damage coverage are contained in the Description of Coverage or Insurance Policy (www.vacationrentalinsurance.com/G10VRD ). The Vacation Rental Damage can be purchased up to, and including at, check-in. By submitting payment for this plan, you authorize and request CSA Travel Protection and Insurance Services to pay directly Tahoe Moon Properties any amount payable under the terms and conditions of the Vacation Rental Damage. Please contact Tahoe Moon Properties directly if you do not wish to participate in this plan or assignment to make cash deposit arrangement(see below)
Cash Deposit: In such a case a $1000 - $3000 separate deposit will be collected at the time of booking. Deposit amounts will be returned within 21 days of departure only if no resulting loss was incurred during Tenant’s stay. All damage must be reported by Tenant to Tahoe Moon Properties by both in writing AND by regular mail within 24 hours of departure. Tenant is responsible for all replacements and repairs that are outside what is considered normal wear and tear and tenant hereby authorizes TMP to charge the Tenant’s credit card to cover said costs in excess of the maximum deposit of $3000. If cost of replacement or repairs exceeds the Tenant’s credit card limit, Tenant agrees to pay the difference to TMP. In the event of a dispute concerning a security deposit, arguments to be heard in the jurisdiction where the Property exists.
