Squaw's Family Retreat is the perfect four bedroom vacation home for the family who likes to ski or to get together with some snow loving friends.  This comfortable vacation rental is located a short walk to the lifts of Squaw Valley and the Village at Squaw and all the great restaurants and shops, not to mention some of the best skiing in the US. Ten minutes drive and you be in Tahoe City and at the great beaches of the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. If you want some more variety in your skiing North Lake Tahoe has many great ski areas including Alpine Meadows, Sugarbowl and Northstar.

The open living area has high ceilings with two separate seating areas divided by the dining room table.  One area has a wood stove that puts out an amazing amount of cozy heat and the other end an old fashion metal open fireplace for those who love to watch the flames and enjoying burning wood (there are always a few of those in every group).
The kitchen is well equipped for preparing après ski snacks and big dishes of comfort food like casseroles and spaghetti bolognaise.
On the ground level there are three bedrooms one with a King, one with a queen bed and the third with two twins.  Upstairs there is one bedroom containing a king bed (which may be split into two twins) and a set of bunks.  There is a bathroom on each level.
Squaw's Family Retreat is in the perfect place for enjoying all Squaw Valley has to offer.  A 5 - 10 minute walk gets you to the bottom of the Far East lift at the bottom of the Squaw Valley parking lot where you can buy a ticket and hop straight on to the lift.  Or if like me the idea of walking in your ski boots doesn't appeal to you the drive will be around a minute.  You can also walk down to the Village and enjoy the wonderful restaurants and nightlife only minutes from your home.  For those of you who like sushi, Mama Sake is not to be missed.

Cleaning Fee: $180

Transient Occupancy Tax: 10%

2 night weekend stays will only be available 10 days prior to a weekend in high season.

There are some periods where there is a one week minimum with an advance booking but we will try hard to fit any length bookings in so please give us a call.

Check in time is 3:00PM and check out time is 10:00AM, if there is an opening before or after your stay we will try to accommodate any requests for changing these times, but these must be approved by the office. If the house is booked directly after your stay the check out time is very important because we need the time to prepare the home for our new guests.
