This five bedroom Squaw Valley vacation home offers three separate living areas, each providing distinct function and charm. Upon entering the main floor, you arrive in a cozy living area with two story ceilings and a wall of windows looking out toward Squaw Valley. Adorned in craftsman Tahoe cabin decor, this gathering area boasts a large open stone wood burning fireplace, a cozy seating space, a large dining room table and adjoining kitchen. The well equipped kitchen is separated from the living area by a breakfast bar, offering an ideal environment for preparing meals while socializing over coffee or apre-ski wine and cheese. The “cooks kitchen” is well supplied with quality tools and cookware to create meals for a hungry crowd
The second living area just downstairs includes a flat screen TV, game area, and a small fridge so you won’t have to go far for cold beverages. It is the perfect place to unwind and watch a movie or to entertain children after a long day on the slopes. A loft area on the third floor has its own TV and DVD player and doubles as an extra bedroom, preferable for late night friends or noisy sleepers.
Accommodations at the Olympic Valley Vista include 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in the main house PLUS a studio apartment with private bath located over the garage. The top floor of the main house hosts two sleeping areas; a master bedroom with a King bed and, and the loft with a fold out Queen sofa bed as well as a full bathroom with a tub/ shower combination. The main level of this mountain home includes two bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed, and the other with a King that can be made up as twin beds, along with a full bathroom. Adjacent to the downstairs game room is another bedroom with twin beds that can be made into a King and another full bath. The private apartment above the garage is separated from the main home by a short outdoor walkway. These bright and sunny quarters offer a high quality King bed as well as a full private bath with a large Jacuzzi style soaking tub and a separate glassed-in shower.
The options at The Olympic Valley Vistat are endless! Squaw Valley USA has been named the top ski resort in America by Outside magazine and you won’t need to fight traffic to get there. Squaw Valley lift tickets are also interchangeable at Alpine Meadows ski resort! There is a free 10-minute shuttle that departs from each resort every half-hour.Venture into the Village at Squaw for dining in a wide array of great restaurants, entertainment, and nightlife. Additional Winter activities right in Squaw Valley include, ice skating at the Olympic Ice Pavilion, cross country skiing, dog sledding, snowshoeing, as well as snow tubing and mini snowmobiles for the kids at SnowVentures.
Summer activities include hiking and mountain biking, miniature golf, ropes course, zipline, bungee trampoline, rock climbing wall, geocaching, paintball, and an award winning championship golf course. Check in time is 3:00PM and check out time is 10:00AM, if there is an opening before or after your stay we will try to accommodate any requests for changing these times, but these must be approved by the office. If the house is booked directly after your stay the check out time is very important because we need the time to prepare the home for our new guests.
