Carnelian Lakeview Retreat is great vacation rental home that is dog friendly and has a stunning view of Lake Tahoe.  This North Lake Tahoe  house is made for relaxing, from the deck with comfortable outdoor furniture and dining to the comfortable living room with wrap around couch and open fireplace.    The coast guard boat launch and dog friendly beach at Lake Forest are also a short drive from this home.  If you are looking for a vacation rental that is close to Tahoe City with its great restaurants and shopping, and a short drive to Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows you should really consider this Carnelian Bay home.

The kitchen, living room and dining area are all open and share the great Lakeview from the house.  You will find the kitchen well equipped for preparing meals to share with your friends and family and the dining room table has an extension that can be added to seat 6 - 8 people.  There is also seating for 2 more people at the breakfast bar. The living room is set up for socializing with its wrapped around couch open fireplace and TV/DVD.
There are two master suites; one on the main floor has a master bathroom with a newly renovated bathroom with double completely enclosed wet steam shower, a Jacuzzi tub in the main bedroom and another look at the stunning lakeview from the king size bed and Jacuzzi tub.  The second master suite is on the lower level and also has a king size bed and a master bathroom with shower.
The lower level has two more bedrooms one with a queen bed, the other with a queen and a twin bed with trundle.  All bedrooms have a TV.

The driveway has a flat entry with parking for at least four cars if you do not mind parking each other in.

Cleaning Fee: $200

Transient Occupancy Tax: 10%

Ski Lease: $3500/month starting January or December – 4 or 5 months

There are some periods where there is a one week minimum with an advance booking but we will try hard to fit any length bookings in so please give us a call.

Check in time is 3:00PM and check out time is 10:00AM, if there is an opening before or after your stay we will try to accommodate any requests for changing these times, but these must be approved by the office. If the house is booked directly after your stay the check out time is very important because we need the time to prepare the home for our new guests.
