Chipmunk Luxury Lakeview Retreat is an amazing newly renovated vacation rental in North Lake Tahoe with the most stunning panoramic Lakeviews and a short drive to Northstar ski area.  This renovation has just been completed and the attention to detail shows throughout the house.  The first thing you will notice when you enter the house is the amazing Lakeviews, a large picture window sits in-front of a large dining room table and a full bar with 32 inch flat screen TV.
The kitchen is fully renovated and well equipped,close to the dining area and perfect for making wonderful meals to share with family and friends.
The living room has a cozy open fireplace, comfy couches and another 32 inch TV.  Just off the living room is a den that can be used to catch up some work, although work is highly discouraged or just to relax and enjoy the view.
Off the main deck is a wonderfully private large hot tub with more of those great Lakeviews.
There is one bedroom and bathroom on the lower level and two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the upper level.  The master bedroom has a queen be, a queen futon and a 25 inch TV with DVD player.  The other two bedrooms also have queen beds.
The forth bedroom is in an apartment on the lower level of the house,  it is accessed through the outside of the property.  It has a King size bed, master bath and kitchenette.
There is also a 2 car garage to keep your cars snow free and easy access.
This property is very centrally located to some great restaurants in Kings Beach.  A five minute drive puts you at the North Shore Casinos with their great restaurants and entertainment and then 10 minutes drive and you will be at Northstar with it's great skiing, amazing village full of great shops, restaurants and an ice skating rink surrounded by outdoor fireplaces and bars.

Cleaning Fee: $235

Transient Occupancy Tax: 10%

Dog Fee: $40/dog/stay dogs would be considered on a case by case basis.

Security Deposit Protection (SDP): $39
SDP covers you for up to $3000 accidental damage. For more details please go to the policies and procedures page.

Ski Lease: $4000/month starting January 5 for 4 months or December 1 for 5 months.

There are some periods where there is a one week minimum with an advance booking but we will try hard to fit any length bookings in so please give us a call.

Check in time is 3:00PM and check out time is 10:00AM, if there is an opening before or after your stay we will try to accommodate any requests for changing these times, but these must be approved by the office. If the house is booked directly after your stay the check out time is very important because we need the time to prepare the home for our new guests.

The house was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. Beautiful view, great accommodations and great for dog lovers although there was allot of unleashed dogs in the area. The house was a little hard to get to on the icy roads.

The Chipmunk house was perfect for our group. Plenty of sleeping space, large kitchen, and an amazing view of the lake from the deck. Also in a great location - just a quick 10 minute walk down to Kings Beach, restaurants, and shops. We had an amazing stay at the Chipmunk house - it exceeded everyone's expectations and is even better in person. I had originally booked a place in Tahoe City, but unfortunately it was double booked. I worked with Deena to find a different cabin, and she was able to accomodate me with the same nightly rate I had previously agreed to. Deena was very responsive throughout the reservation process and was committed to finding a new place for my group. Our dog especially enjoyed the deck.
