Kristy's Retreat is a newly constructed North Tahoe vacation rental located in Agate Bay, between Tahoe City and Kings Beach. This dog friendly North Shore getaway is an apartment above the garage of the main house, and offers a full kitchen and is very well stocked, with high quality furnishings. Summer guests enjoy access to the Agate Bay Sun Club pool, hot tub, tennis courts, beach and pier! This private beach resort, on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, is just a few minutes walk down the hill from this property.
Winter guests of Kristy's Retreat are conveniently located within a 15 minute drive from major ski resorts, including Squaw Valley USA, Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, and the family friendly Northstar at Tahoe. Kristy's is located less than 5 minutes by car from some of North Lake Tahoe's best restaurants, nightlife, and entertainment. Choose from a variety of crowd pleasing cuisine at Garwood's, Lanza's, Sancho's, CB's Pizza, or the Old Post office, all very close by! The North Shore casinos on the Nevada state line are a ten minute drive. Enjoy gambling as well as big name music venues at the Crystal Bay Club Casino.
Accommodations at this vacation apartment include a master bedroom with king size bed as well as a full size sleeper sofa in the main living area. From the living area, exit to an elevated and sunny south facing deck, with a high quality BBQ and private hot tub.
This vacation apartment shares an entry with the main home but owners do not use this entry when guests are staying. The entry area consists of approximately 11 stairs up to the apartment. This guest unit is very private with no shared walls with the main house, it sits above the separate garage.
Well behaved house dogs are welcome and may have use of the fenced back yard with prior approval as well as a small dog run available.

There are some periods where there is a one week minimum with an advance booking but we will try hard to fit any length bookings in so please give us a call.
Check in time is 3:00PM and check out time is 10:00AM, if there is an opening before or after your stay we will try to accommodate any requests for changing these times, but these must be approved by the office. If the house is booked directly after your stay the check out time is very important because we need the time to prepare the home for our new guests.

Apartment was really clean and well equipped. We were a bit concerned about the owners being in the main house but it wasn't a problem. Only saw them once and they were very friendly and gave us great advice on a restaurant. Hot tub was great after long hike.
