Snowcrest View Chalet is a cozy, yet modern three-story house with vaulted window banks that have towering views onto Squaw's Valley's southern peaks. From the moment you enter the door of this home you feel relaxed, the living area features a huge wrap-around leather couch perfect for sinking into after a big day on the slopes or catching up with friends over red wine. The living room also has four comfy leather seats situated in front of a wall of windows with the most amazing views. Every detail of this house is designed for luxury and comfort. The wood stove puts out a warm welcoming heat, and the sunken dining area is definitely going to be the place for many fabulous meals shared with friends and family.
The kitchen has been renovated and has all new stainless steel appliances and has been well equipped for enjoying fabulous meals and great wine with friends and family.
The upper-level features two bedrooms with retractable wood walls that can opened to enjoy the mountain view or closed for night-time privacy. Both rooms have queen beds and high quality linens with down comforters. The home features plush, upscale furnishings and amenities,and this level includes a spectacular bath featuring a steam shower and a dry sauna. The first floor houses the master bedroom with queen bed, TV with cable, an updated bath, a private kitchenette and French Doors onto the back yard. Heated floors, new stainless steel appliances, a 42-inch LCD TV, a DVD player, WiFi, cableTV, video games, an outdoor fire pit and a large stainless grill are also there for your comfort. The home also has piles of warm blankets and a wood-burning stove for those snowy winter nights.
From the living area you can watch skiers glide along the ridgeline and you can be there in minutes. It's a short drive to Squaw Valley Village or the Alpine Meadows Lodge. It's so close to skiing that folks in this neighborhood regularly take the shuttle to Alpine Meadows and ski home. For summer entertainment, Lake Tahoe and the Truckee River are within biking distance, offering a variety of outdoor entertainment options, from river rafting to boating. Availability and Booking
Cleaning Fee: $185
Transient Occupancy Tax: 10%
Security Deposit Protection (SDP): $39
SDP covers you for up to $3000 accidental damage. For more details please go to the policies and procedures page.
Ski Lease: $3500/month plus utilities starting January 5 for 4 months or December 1 for 5 months.
There are some periods where there is a one week minimum with an advance booking but we will try hard to fit any length bookings in so please give us a call.
Check in time is 3:00PM and check out time is 10:00AM, if there is an opening before or after your stay we will try to accommodate any requests for changing these times, but these must be approved by the office. If the house is booked directly after your stay the check out time is very important because we need the time to prepare the home for our new guests.
