Squaw Valley Getaway is a classic ski chalet tucked in the back streets of Squaw Valley. This comfortable vacation rental home is set up for socializing with an open kitchen and great dining area with views of the mountain. I wood stove on this level creates a cozy warm living space. The living room has comfortable couches, and chairs and a TV with cable. This is a dog friendly home.
Upstairs is a bedroom with a queen bed and a bathroom
Downstairs is 3 bedrooms one with a king, one with two twins and a third with a queen bed. There is a bathroom on this level with a bath/shower. There is a deck off the queen bedroom that has a hot tub and view of the mountain.
On the lower level is a storage room with a ski tuning bench.
If you would prefer not to drive there is a shuttle bus stops at the bottom of Wayne Road on Squaw Valley Road. That is a short 2 1/2 block walk downhill. The ski area is about a 15 or 20 minute walk from the house (depending on the snow conditions and speed of the walkers.)
This comfortable vacation cabin is in Olympic Valley centrally located between Truckee and Tahoe City both towns have great restaurants and shopping. You can also drive a few minutes or walk for around 20 minutes to get you to the many great restaurants in the Village at Squaw Valley, including Mama Sake for great sushi, Fireside Pizza and Pasta for the best pizza around and Plump Jacks or Grahams for fine dining. It is also not far to many other great ski resorts; Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Sugar Bowl. For those of you who do not want to downhill ski there is some great cross country skiing and beautiful spas and even dog sledding right in the Valley.
In the summer months Squaw Valley is a great peaceful place to retreat to but within a 15 - 30 minute drive to Lake Tahoe and numerous great golf courses such as the Resort at Squaw Creek, Coyote Moon, Tahoe Donner and Incline Village.

Availability and Booking
Cleaning Fee: $205
Transient Occupancy Tax: 10% charged on rent, cleaning, dog and booking fees
Dog Fee: $40/dog/stay
Security Deposit Protection (SDP): $39
SDP covers you for up to $3000 accidental damage. For more details please go to the policies and procedures page.
Ski Lease: $4400/month plus utilities starting January 5 for 4 months or December 1 for 5 months.
There are some periods where there is a one week minimum with an advance booking but we will try hard to fit any length bookings in so please give us a call.
Check in time is 3:00PM and check out time is 10:00AM, if there is an opening before or after your stay we will try to accommodate any requests for changing these times, but these must be approved by the office. If the house is booked directly after your stay the check out time is very important because we need the time to prepare the home for our new guests.
