Homewood Family Retreat is a great family and friend vacation rental on a quiet street on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. All members of the family are welcome, including dogs. This home is set up for family getaways. a few minute drive or a nice stroll with put you on the shores of Lake Tahoe at Chamberlands beach. A cozy living room with wood stove and large flat screen television. The home is equipped with DSL internet and wireless. A large dining area with two dining room tables great for big family dinners in the evenings and then cards and puzzles the rest of the time. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking up those great dinners. The bathrooms are newly renovated. All three bedrooms have flat screen televisions, we know how much fun it is to get together with family and friends but sometimes it is good to have a little break. The downstairs bedroom has a flat screen television and a king bed. Upstairs there is a large bedroom with a double sleeper sofa and a flat screen television. The third bedroom is a great kid bunk room, two twin beds and 3 twin bunks. The home has a large wrap around deck and a 2 car garage. For those of you who like to be active there is so much to do in the area, from back country skiing and snow shoeing or a short 5 minute drive will get you to Homewood ski area, Within 30 - 45 minutes in normal traffic you can also be at Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows or Northstar ski areas. In the summer and fall there is a wide array or activities from boating, hiking and all sorts of water sports. The Tahoe area has numerous championship golf courses including Tahoe Donner, the Resort at Squaw Creek, Incline Village and Coyote Moon.

Availability and Booking
Cleaning Fee: $165
Transient Occupancy Tax: 10% charged on rent, cleaning, dog and booking fees
Dog Fee: $40/dog/stay
Ski Lease: $2000/month plus utilities starting January 5 for 4 months or December 1 for 5 months.
There are some periods where there is a one week minimum with an advance booking but we will try hard to fit any length bookings in so please give us a call.
Check in time is 3:00PM and check out time is 10:00AM, if there is an opening before or after your stay we will try to accommodate any requests for changing these times, but these must be approved by the office. If the house is booked directly after your stay the check out time is very important because we need the time to prepare the home for our new guests.
