Fairway Cottage is a wonderful North Lake Tahoe dog friendly vacation rental; a perfect getaway for families and couples. This North Shore Lakeview cabin is just a short walk into Tahoe City and even though it is quite close to fine dining and entertainment, this rental has a very private back yard backing to National Forest. A short track uphill from the back of this cabin will leads you to Tahoe Rim Trail which goes all the way around Lake Tahoe.
The Cottage offers a large private deck with hot tub and forest views, carpet throughout, and tastefully furnished comfortable living area focusing on the stone hearth and gas fireplace.
Bedroom accommodations include a master bedroom with king bed and French doors opening onto private deck, and a queen bed in the second bedroom. Lodging amenities include high quality linens; leather sofa in the living room which folds out to a comfortable queen bed; and dog friendly extras such as dog bed, dog treats, and Tahoe guide book for dog lovers.
For Lake Tahoe skiing and snowboarding, this cabin is in close proximity to Alpine Meadows Ski Resort (5 miles), Homewood Mountain Resort (7 miles), Northstar at Tahoe (10 miles) and Squaw Valley (7 miles).
Tubing and sledding are available at many North Shore ski resorts or setup your sledding run right in the back yard. For summer lodging guests this rental is nearby golf courses, hiking trails, bike trails, beach access, and boat ramps. Walk to Commons Beach for an abundance of summer activities.

Transient Occupancy Tax: 10%

There are some periods where there is a one week minimum with an advance booking but we will try hard to fit any length bookings in so please give us a call.
Check in time is 3:00PM and check out time is 10:00AM, if there is an opening before or after your stay we will try to accommodate any requests for changing these times, but these must be approved by the office. If the house is booked directly after your stay the check out time is very important because we need the time to prepare the home for our new guests.

We love this cottage, we have stayed here a few times. It is always clean and lots of room for a 2 bedroom cottage. Our dog loves going down to the Truckee River, it is a short walk and he loves chasing sticks in the river. The hot tub at night is very private and great to be under the stars.

Great location, close to skiing at Squaw and we walked to Tahoe City for dinner which was great to not have to drive. House was clean, and our dog loved the back yard.

We loved running through the snow to the hot tub, and then gazing at the stars and snow through the trees - beautiful! The house was lovely and had everything we needed, the only extra thing we would have enjoyed were some snow shoes so we could explore a bit more.

This house has a great layout when the decks are utilized. The kids and dogs had plenty of space to play and roam. The creek that ran through the property was great entertainment for the kids and they had a blast playing in it.
Very easy to book online. This was a great help since we were booking last minute for travel the next day.
I would recommend it to both dog owners and those who do not bring their pets with them on vacation.

We just wanted to share how much we enjoyed staying at the house on Fairway Drive. We had a fabulous vacation and did not want to come home. Our daughter particularly loved the hot tub and our dog was in heaven with the special dog drawer and dog friendly areas to visit in town. We made sure to leave the home clean and organized as we found it. This is a beautiful property and we hope to return again next year
