Accommodations entail two bedrooms tastefully decorated with hand embroidered quilts and matching pillow shams. One bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom offers both a double bed and a single bed. This cabin comfortably sleeps up to five people. This rental offers rustic charm amongst towering pines in a peaceful setting, with private deck and hot tub. Dog friendly features include a large lot, easy access to hiking trails, and little extras to make your dog feel at home.
Judge Peek's Cabin includes access to the Cedar Flat Homeowners Association pier and private beach, great for swimming and catching craw daddies. There is also an optional buoy that comes with this rental for an additional $100/week.

Cleaning Fee: $130
Transient Occupancy Tax: 10%

Security Deposit Protection (SDP): $39
Ski Lease available $1750/month plus utilities for 4 or 5 months starting January 5 or December 1 respectively.
SDP covers you for up to $3000 accidental damage. For more details please go to the policies and procedures page.
There are some periods where there is a one week minimum with an advance booking but we will try hard to fit any length bookings in so please give us a call.
Check in time is 3:00PM and check out time is 10:00AM, if there is an opening before or after your stay we will try to accommodate any requests for changing these times, but these must be approved by the office. If the house is booked directly after your stay the check out time is very important because we need the time to prepare the home for our new guests.

The house was very clean. We had all the supplies we needed and everything was in good working order. We really loved the location and were very comfortable. It was a little difficult getting to the house as the roads were icy.

The Judge Peek home was cute and the fireplace was lovely. The location was quiet and private. The hot tub lost water quickly and wasn't very clean. The yard was messy and full of junk. It was difficult to get to the cabin due to icy roads, which should be in the pre-trip info. The key to the lock didn't work. Kindling for the fire would be nice.
Our dog loved the fire and the big sunny deck and the large yard to romp in.
We really miss Bruce's Place. There really isn't any other place as nice or as reasonable on your site. Judge Peek is the best we found and it's much more funky and more expensive. However, it's quiet, has a hot tub and is dog friendly, so it works.
TMP Thanks for the review Laura, I am sorry about the yard, Winter is difficult to keep yards clean as things get covered with snow and then it melts and they all appear at once.
