Bullwinkle's Retreat is a comfortable North Lake Tahoe vacation condo located 1 mile from Tahoe City. Situated centrally on the North Shore, Bullwinkle's Retreat gets its name (and classic mountain feel) from a large moose head hanging on the wall in the common room. Bullwinkle's Retreat offers well maintained facilities within the Dollar Hill 2 condominium complex including a sauna, game room, and a heated pool and hot tub, tennis courts, and a half basketball court in the summer months.  Snow removal is provided in winter months.

Hop on the North Tahoe bike path, which passes just in front of the complex, and head into Tahoe City for lunch or continue down the West Shore to Sunnyside or north to the Village at Squaw Valley for a longer adventure!

Nearby Tahoe city allows for easy access to shopping, supermarkets, movie theaters, dining, nightlife, and entertainment.  Drive 15 minutes to the Nevada State Line for gambling and big name music venues at the North Shore casinos!  For world class downhill skiing, Squaw Valley USA and Alpine Meadows Ski Resort are within a 15 minute car ride. Homewood Ski Area is 8 miles by car, and Northstar at Tahoe is 12 miles by car.

Some of Tahoe's finest cross country skiing trails are located right in your backyard.  These trails provide for great hiking, dog walking, and mountain biking in the summer months. Tubing and sledding can be done at the local resorts and there are nearby golf courses, as well as dog friendly beaches and boat ramp access all within walking distance. There are many options for the outdoor enthusiast in both winter and summer months!

The living area at this vacation condo is large and open plan with the kitchen, so you can socialize while preparing a meal. The kitchen has everything you need, including a full size oven, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and all the plates, cups, glasses and cookware necessary. There is a dining table for 6, and a cozy fireplace, and a sperate T.V area perfect for entertaining children. The bedrooms are downstairs, as well as 2 full bathrooms and a washer/dryer.

There are some periods where there is a one week minimum with an advance booking but we will try hard to fit any length bookings in so please give us a call.

Check in time is 3:00PM and check out time is 10:00AM, if there is an opening before or after your stay we will try to accommodate any requests for changing these times, but these must be approved by the office. If the house is booked directly after your stay the check out time is very important because we need the time to prepare the home for our new guests.
