Squaw Valley Apache is a 4 bedroom vacation rental located only minutes from the slopes of Squaw Valley USA and has some of the best mountain views in the area - from the dining room, living room, master bedroom and the hot tub. This vacation home is well-appointed and beautifully maintained with every comfort considered. Centrally located between Truckee and Tahoe City the choice of restaurants and shopping is endless, but if you like to leave the car at home a 10 minute stroll will get you to the many great restaurants in the Village at Squaw Valley, including Mama Sake for great sushi, Fireside Pizza and Pasta for the best pizza around and Plump Jacks or Grahams for fine dining.
When staying in this North Shore home you feel more like you are staying at a friends home than a vacation rental, it so comfortable and well equipped. On entering the home the first thing everybody notices is the stunning dining room, beautiful sunshine stunning views and seating for 10. From the dining room table you will be able to watch the cable car at night, the fireworks displays for the Snowfest Festival and by looking for the wind sock on the first Tram Tower you will be able to see what the conditions are like on the upper mountain before leaving home. The living room has comfortable couches focusing around a warm gas fireplace and a sitting area at one end perfect for reading and enjoying the afternoon sun. French door from the living room open up to a large sunny deck and gas BBQ which is accessible year round. The kitchen belongs to someone that loves to bake and entertain and has a well equipped walk-in pantry, complete with table linens, cookware and serving dishes.
The main bedroom upstairs in large, sunny and has stunning mountain views and a king bed. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and lots of wonderful book. Bedroom 3 has two built in twin beds. The fourth bedroom is a full apartment with it's own kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom has a queen bed, couch and also another built in queen bed. There are quality down comforters on all the beds and you'll find many extras for your comfort, pleasure and a true mountain experience. All the king and queen beds are brand new.
As you enter the house the hot tub is to the right of the entry and has more of the same stunning mountain views and is perfect for relaxing after a hard days skiing. There are allot of steps up to the front door, they are a great warm up for skiing but not great at the end of the day or for the faint at heart, but as you admire the view you will know it is worth the few extra steps.

* 2 night weekend stays will only be available 10 days prior to a weekend in high season.
There are some periods where there is a one week minimum with an advance booking but we will try hard to fit any length bookings in so please give us a call.
Check in time is 3:00PM and check out time is 10:00AM, if there is an opening before or after your stay we will try to accommodate any requests for changing these times, but these must be approved by the office. If the house is booked directly after your stay the check out time is very important because we need the time to prepare the home for our new guests.
