Downtown Holiday Festival & Bud Fish Tree Lighting Ceremony

Experience the holiday spirit in Historic Downtown Truckee as the Truckee Downtown Merchants Association and Truckee Rotary come together to celebrate and honor the community. Local elementary students adorn small trees with decorations, creating a warm welcome in businesses, while the Truckee Rotary adds to the festivities with Santa's presence and hot cocoa. TDMA and the Town contribute to the cheerful ambiance with festive holiday lighting. The centerpiece of the event is the lighting of the traditional Bud Fish Tree at 5:20, a heartfelt tribute to a beloved member of the Truckee community, marking over 40 years of celebration and togetherness.
