This home boasts incredible mountain and lake views from many vantage points, a private hot tub, and a gas fireplace, AND it is surrounded by nearly 2 acres of natural forests. This astonishing property has numerous trails perfect for hiking and biking right out the back door. Winter is ideal for sledding and snowmobiling while summer is perfect for sitting on the deck watching the sunset on the lake! Conveniently located just blocks up from the beaches and restaurants of Kings Beach, this property is truly a jewel!
The open concept house mixed with its prime location will give you the "Tahoe cabin" feel but everything feels fresh and new and needless to say, stylish! Enjoy Lake Views easily through large floor-to-ceiling windows from the comfort of the open-concept common space. The perfect sunroom/dining room is adjacent and is arranged for the most breathtaking sunset dinners. You won't worry about going out to dinner as you may not want to ever leave. The gorgeous marble countertops, rustic accents, and stainless steel appliances throughout the kitchen will keep you cooking. Plus, if you do have to work while on vacation, the home office (which also acts as the 4th bedroom thanks to its built-in murphy bed), will be a perfect place to "connect" while you are away from it all!
Once you've taken in all the main floor has to offer, make your way upstairs to the primary bedroom. This breathtaking bedroom is a peaceful paradise! Waking up to the sun rising over the lake is an experience you will not forget. The en-suite bathroom feels like a luxury spa day, covered in beautiful marble and a perfect relaxing tub to unwind after the day's adventures. Downstairs on the first floor is two additional rooms, one of which has it's very own entrance and an ensuite bathroom and mini kitchenette, with a sink, microwave, and mini fridge, as well as patio furniture just outside during the summer months. The downstairs rooms sit adjacent to all sides of the garage which acts as the perfect rec room with its ping pong table, and Peloton exercise bike!
The outside of the home is just as impressive as the inside! You have the perfect place to relax on the giant wraparound deck, which features beautiful mountain and lake views as well as a brand new private hot tub on a covered deck for comfortable soaking no matter the weather, and a sizable gas grill for your use in the summer months. The privacy and surrounding forests keep this King's Beach gem quiet and peaceful. Whether you are in Tahoe for its nature, summer or winter activities, or gambling this home's location has you covered! Anyone renting this property during the snow season (Nov 1-May 15), should bring a 4-wheel/AWD drive vehicle with mud & snow tires and always carry chains. • 4th bedroom is a converted office and has a glass door and a converted cabinet as a closet.
• Although 80% of our properties are pet-friendly - this is NOT a pet-friendly property. Please be respectful of this. We do not consider service animals pets. If you bring a dog, you will be subject to a fine and are in breach of contract which could result in being asked to leave the property.
• Important, this property does not have air conditioning. Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe
• Check-out is at 10 am.
On March 11th, 2022, the county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing. Some Highlights include:
•Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 8 am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time.
•Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside of a property and all pet waste needs to be picked up.
•Parking is limited to the following number of spaces: 4
POLICIES & DISCLOSURES
1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9 pm - 8 am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3. By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant, and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation, and transportation services.

Perfect vacation home
This is the perfect vacation house! We stayed at the Flying Squirrel for our August vacation. After countless hours trying to decide between North and South Lake Tahoe, we chose this house with a North Tahoe, Kings Beach location. We were so happy with our choice! The Kings Beach location was perfect. We were within a quick drive to beaches, town, and shopping and we appreciated the tranquilness of the location. Every morning, we had coffee on the balcony with breathtaking magazine worthy views of the lake! The kitchen was fully stocked! We cooked dinner every night, baked cookies, and made a birthday cake and had all the tools needed! Then, we enjoyed family dinners in the dining room surrounded by beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Most evenings, we hiked on the mountain trails behind the house. We were minutes to Kings Beach and Speedboat beach. Beautiful gems of North Lake Tahoe. We visited Emerald Bay (started at the top with a hike down to Vikingsholm), Sand Harbor Beach (rented kayaks that we paddled to Bonsai rock), took a private boat charter with Moose from North Tahoe Wakesurf and Charter (highly recommend), Incline Village, South Lake Tahoe and Heavenly Gondola ride to the peak, and Zephyr Cove. The layout of the house worked perfectly for us (4 adults and 2 kids aged 5 & 8). Two adults stayed in the loft bedroom with a bathroom. There is also an office with a Murphy bed on the main level. The other 2 adults and 2 kids stayed in the lower level, which had a room with 2 beds for the kids and another bedroom with a bathroom for the other 2 adults. The layout worked perfectly for us. The house was stocked with a lot of kitchen and bathroom essentials so I would suggest to check first what's all there and then grab anything else you need from the nearby grocery store. Tahoe Moon Properties was so nice to work with and quickly answered any questions we had! We all highly recommend this vacation home and would love to return someday! We created so many memories here that will last a lifetime!
AWESOME AND AMAZING
The house was exactly what was represented and could not have been nicer. Very well appointed kitchen, allowed us to cook our family meals together each evening effortlessly. We were traveling as a family of parents of young adults and the layout of the house was perfect. A lot of Amenities there: hot tub, ping pong table, peloton bike, along with board games and great TV allowed us to spend excellent family time together.
The property was everything we were looking for, privacy, views, lux accommodations and trails right from the house, would definitely stay here again.

Secluded up the hill from Kings Beach, with beautiful views from every window. The property was very clean, beyond any other vacation rental we have stayed at in the past. The house was stocked with games, adorable toys and cozy blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we would have needed. The bedding and beds were comfortable as well. The lower level where two of the rooms are, get a little chilly in the winter, but there are extra space heaters throughout if need be. It is located a short drive to Northstar as well as Diamond Peak, and a wonderful place to return to after a busy day on the slopes. The Peloton and ping pong table in the garage were nice touches as well. We had such a great time, we have talked about returning to this cabin on a yearly basis.
