While we never want things like icy roads, road closures, or smoke from wildfires to negatively impact our guests, it can happen. We ask travelers to plan their vacation appropriately for the rural mountain climate and encourage guests to research all travel insurance options, as Tahoe Moon Properties cannot provide refunds for things outside of our control.

The Kings Beach Lakeview home captures the essence of the beauty of Tahoe from the comforts of the living room. This hillside property not only has sweeping lake views, but it also is conveniently located near the lake for access to the beautiful sandy beach, shops in Kings Beach, ski resorts, casinos, and countless outdoor activities. This home is perfect for the ideal Tahoe getaway with family and friends! The open living area layout is perfect for socializing with the group, playing pool, or for a quiet romantic night soaking up the view of Lake Tahoe. When you walk in the front door, you are greeted with a spacious living area with floor-to-ceiling windows showing off the amazing lake view and wilderness of the Tahoe Basin.
The open-layout kitchen is a generous size, allowing for plenty of room to cook your favorite meals without being left out of the action. The living area is then broken up into three different areas. The first space is furnished with a comfy couch and a flat-screen TV to enjoy your favorite shows or movies. Next to that is another couch facing the opposite direction and allowing for the perfect place for taking in the view and curling up in front of the pellet stove fireplace. The dining table doubles as a pool table so you can enjoy meals with your group and play a fun game of pool after. Plus, there is an outdoor extension to the living area on a corner deck with seating and a grill to enjoy a nice summer night or a warm winter day. The main suite is also located on the main floor with a king bed and attached bath. In the lower level of the property houses two more bedrooms and another full bathroom. The 2nd bedroom is very spacious with a queen bed and bunk beds, as well as a tv area that provides beautiful hillside views. It is perfect for a family or kids. The third bedroom downstairs has a queen bed and a small twin futon, this room has access to the backyard and a lightly wooded area with a small landing outside of the door.
This property is nearby a multitude of Tahoe activities. It is located less than a mile from the border of Nevada where Crystal Bay houses the North Shore casinos, where you can partake in some gaming or take in a show. Less than a mile in the opposite direction, you will find there are restaurants and shops to browse in Kings Beach. Not only can you find unique little shops throughout Kings Beach, but there is also the convenience of a full-sized grocery store. This area is great for summer and winter. In the summertime, you can enjoy one of Lake Tahoe s most popular beaches that offer picnicking, bathrooms, and volleyball among other activities. This area is also a great access point to lake water sports, with numerous summer activity rental shops along the road. Kings Beach also has a conveniently located golf course and for variety, Incline Village is only a short drive away, with more golf courses, shops, and dining locations. This spot is ideal for downhill winter sports at Mt. Rose or Northstar, or sledding at the North Tahoe Regional Park.
This is a great location to have access to the family-friendly and activity-packed Northstar Resort. The Village at Northstar has something for everyone year-round. In the winter months, you can ice skate, ski, snowboard, snowshoe, plus even more at the village. In the summertime, you can hike, bike, or golf right in the same area. Year-round you can shop, dine, check out the spas, or catch a movie. This location really does have something for everyone and boasts an equal amount of convenience coupled with Tahoe charm.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
-This is a dog-friendly house but in order to bring a dog, you must pay a $100 dog fee per dog, 2 dog maximum. If you bring a dog without paying the dog fee, you will be subject to a fine and are in breach of contract which could result in being asked to leave the property.
-Important, this property does not have air conditioning. Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe.
-3 available parking spots (no Garage).
-4wd Required October through April
-Additional Fees include cleaning fee, administration fee, and local Transient Occupancy Tax.
-Check-out time is 10 AM.

IMPORTANT:
On March 11th, 2022, the county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing. Some Highlights include:
Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 8 am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time.
Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside of a property and all pet waste needs to be picked up.
Parking is limited to the following number of spaces: 2

POLICIES DISCLOSURES
1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9 pm - 8 am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3.By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant, and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation, and transportation services.
