*Tahoe is a beautiful and fun place to visit, but occasionally this area can be affected by extreme weather events.  While we never want things like icy roads, road closures, or smoke from wildfires to negatively impact our guests, it can happen. We ask travelers to plan their vacation appropriately for the rural mountain climate and encourage guests to research all travel insurance options, as Tahoe Moon Properties cannot provide refunds for things outside of our control.  

The bright, sunny, open floor plan in this wonderful home is made to order for family and friends to gather in comfort.
Upstairs, guests will find a spacious great room with a fully equipped kitchen (even doing dishes can be enjoyable with a lake view), dining for all, a comfortable seating area with flat screen TV, DVD and a woodstove on a fabulous rock hearth.  Two sliding doors open onto the sunny deck that wraps around the house. Enjoy your morning coffee in the sunshine or watch dusk fall over the lake while relaxing on the deck. Important, this property does not have air conditioning.  Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe.

The master bedroom which has a King Bed with a full en suite bath is also on this floor as well as a guest half bath.

There are 2 bedrooms downstairs - one with a queen bed and the last bedroom has a bunk bed (single/single) and  a single with a trundle. There is a full bath for these bedrooms to share.

During the winter you are about 15 minutes to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Homewood ski areas.

During the summer you can leave your car at the home and enjoy Commons Beach (local favorite for lakeside live music and weekly movies), world class restaurants, shopping, farmers market, golf, galleries and local coffee shops. Plus, watch the July 4th Fireworks from your deck!

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
-The garage is not accessible to vehicles in the winter months.
-The main driveway is only plowed up to the bear bin, so parking is limited to a parking pad off the road, just past the house. There is a walkway from this parking area to the house.
-This parking pad can fit 2 standard vehicles or 1 truck. In the summer, both parking areas are available to vehicles. 

Please be considerate:  NO smoking and NO pets.

IMPORTANT:
On March 11th 2022, the county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing. Some Highlights include:
   •Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time.
   •Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside of a property and all pet waste needs to be picked up.
   •Parking is limited to the following number of spaces: 4 in Summer, 2 in Winter
 

POLICIES & DISCLOSURES
1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2.As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3.By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID, is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation and transportation services.

Great Location. Very Clean and Spacious.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Clean, well stocked, great location walking distance to town and short drive to Palisades. Communication with Tahoe Moon Properties was clear and efficient. Would definitely stay here again!!

Very nice cabin
This is a very nice cabin with lots of room. Nice floors, updated appliances, and a wood stove. The record snowpack limited use of outside facilities, but it’s very understandable. The parking pad and walkway to the house were very well maintained. I recommend without hesitation.

Amazing location, close to the lake and most ski resorts in the Northlake Area. our party was extremely comfortable in this warm and cozy cabin, with it's wood fireplace and amazing media set up with an Xbox! would definitely come back!

The Perfect Vacation!
The view from the deck and kitchen is beautiful and a lovely spot to have dinner. The home is well stock and is very good condition. The kitchen has everything you need to cook gourmet meals.

10 Stars White Water Rafting and Bike Paths I wish I could recall the names of the nice ladies that I spoke to when I called Lake Tahoe Rentals a time or two. Each time they made me feel special and they took the time to answer my questions. In summary, we felt exceedingly welcome. You bring a comforting welcome feeling. There is a genuine concern for your guests and I miss that. Thank you!

Great Family Get-Away with Lake Views
5 * Beautiful House // Perfect Location! We loved staying in this house! It was perfect for a family vacation; plenty of space, clean and very comfortable. It was walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Tahoe City, and a shrot drive to Squaw Valley & Alpine Meadows for skiing. We stayed during the winter, so utilized the parking pad in front. The wrap around porch was enticing, but would be much more enjoyable in the summer. Our favorite restaurants to walk to were: Wolfdale's, Christy Hill, Za's, and Sips for a beverage. I imagine it is also a fabulous place to stay in the summer!

Great Place and Location
